William Wellesley Pole. The Falmouth Officers have reviewed the claims of the persons at Helston who assisted in salvaging stores from the wreck of the Anson on Looe Bar. They have proposed a sum representing a significant reduction from the original claims and the amounts appear reasonable. Ask for directions. The special claims of Mr. Ferris, Collector of Customs at Penzance, Thomas Veall Tide Surveyor at Portleaven, W. Rowe, Innkeeper at Portleaven and Messrs. Polglase and Penberthy are detailed.
