Description

William Wellesley Pole. Receipt of a minute from Lord Bovingdon. We have tried to ascertain who erected the wall on the West Side of the Neck of Land leading to Mount Batton. There is no record that the Government built or ever repaired the wall. As the Corporation of Plymouth are more interested than any other Public Body in the preservation of the Harbour at Catwater, they should attend to the security of the wall in question.
