William Wellesley Pole. Captain Humphreys has asked to be paid as Commander of the Leander. How he is borne on the books. As he was appointed to command by Commissioners' Order, he may be paid personal pay as Captain from May 1806 when he embarked in the Milan to join her, to July 1806, the day preceding his entry on the books of the Leander, on Admiralty order.
