Copy letter from the Victualling Office to the Board. Alexander Robinson, late of the Narcissus, was paid his wages to July 1806, when he was discharged on the orders of Sir Home Popham to the Agent Victualler's office in Buenos Aires, where he served from July to August 1806 and was paid by Agent John Chenoweth, when that city surrendered to the Spanish Government. He remained a prisoner in South America from August 1806 to Sept 1807 and then returned to England. Opine he should be paid for the period he was prisoner until arriving in England, as if he had constantly remained on the Narcissus as Purser's Steward.
