Description

William Wesley Pole. Three draughtsmen were previously employed under the Inspector General, a post now abolished under the 4th report of the Commissioners of Revision. The post is now to be styled Civil Architect and Engineer. The Civil Architect and Engineer has not yet taken his seat at the Board, and ask whether the Draughtsmen should be paid from the date of HM Order in Council of 20th October 1807
