William Wesley Pole. The Centurion, now at Chatham, laden with Naval stores for Gibraltar, is intended for Halifax with a cargo of stores on her return and will stay there as a receiving ship. She can be loaded at Portsmouth to proceed to Halifax, in view of the fact that the William storeship is stranded in the harbour of Canso and that a large part of its cargo, destined for Halifax, may be lost.
