Description (What the record is about)
-
Office of Naval Revision to the Board. Opine it would not be right to impose any restrictions on the Commissioner but we rely on his discretion not to increase the need for written work. When the system of employing shipwrights by Task and Job was under consideration, we were convinced of the bad effects this would place on the Shipwright Officers.
