Description

William Marsden. Rear Admiral Sir Edward Pellew complains of the difficulties in purchasing supplies in India and asks that bullion is sent from Europe to Madras and Bombay. The Naval Officer is to receive all bills drawn by Officers for pay, as cash at the agreed exchange rate, regardless of any outside changes to rates due to peace with the country powers in India. The supply of canvas and cordage from England is to be resumed
