Description

Philip Stephens. Have directed the Woolwich Officers to supply the Maidstone with Mr. Fox's machine for measuring a ship's way but there are none in store and have ordered one to be provided and sent to Portsmouth by land carriage, to meet the ships on her arrival at Spithead
