Philip Stephens. John Fennell, Attorney to Lieutenant Hyde Curtis, late Lieutenant of the Shrewsbury, was discharged from her to sick quarters at Gosport in October 1762 and has asked to be paid his wages from December 1762 to March 1763, when she was paid off. How he stands don the books. As no other was borne as Lieutenant in his place and he has received no half pay for the time, opine he may be paid as Lieutenant.
