Philip Stephens. The timber at Buxtehude in HM Electorial Dominions, belonging to Mr. Pape, recommended by Best Aulie, Councellor to HM as Elector of Hanover, has been viewed and examined by Mr. White, the Purveyor at Hamburgh, who informs us that all the oak timber and trees are fit for purchase but he will not engage to send it to England or agree to deliver it into the Yards at a certain price per load, free of all charges. Have directed him to make the same offer as to price and conditions, which have been accepted by Messrs. Greve and Saltan, and cannot purchase foreign timber upon any other terms
