Description

Philip Stephens. Captain Allen of the Ajax reports from Plymouth that he is unable to continue his voyage, as his ship has been disabled by a gale and he complains of many sails being split, the replacements not being ready for use, that the rigging was rotten and the ship was badly fitted out. The reports of the investigation are being sent
