Copy letter from Commissioner Hanway at Chatham to the Board. The Boatswains of the Echo, Nottingham, Norwich, Sutherland and Cerberus, have been considered good Officers and opines Holmes is also a good man as he openly informed of everything he knew and condemned himself and the others without expecting a reward. It is very difficult to procure corroborating proof of villanies practiced in the dark. Ask for them to be forgiven and hope that they have been deterred from doing so again.
