Description

Philip Stephens. Mrs. Mainwaring has applied for the defects in her son's accounts for the Arundell to be dispensed with. He commanded the Arundell from August 1762 to October 1763 for which time books and papers are delivered but for part of the time they are not signed. As the Boatswain and Carpenter have passed their accounts and there is no imprest against the Captain, opine in regard to his death, the want of the signatures may be dispensed with
