John Clevland. Daniel Bell has applied to be paid by bill for the time he acted as Master of the Falkland and Foudroyant. He is borne as acting Master of the Falkland from December 1758 to January 1759 but has not been paid for it. He has been paid for his proper ship the Bristol to January 1760, the proper Masters in each ship are noted as sick and paid for the time, so opine if Mr. Bell is paid for the Falkland and Foudroyant for the whole time he acted in the former and from the time he ended wages in the latter, it must be by bill
