Description

John Clevland. Samuel Ellis has asked to be paid for the time he acted as Master of the Duke of Acquitaine, by order of Admiral Harrison. He appears by the books to have acted as Master from February 1759 to March 1760 and no other Master is and he is also borne as Master on the Hawke's books where it is noted he was lent to the Duke of Acquitaine for the same time
