Description

John Clevland. Have ordered our agent at Portsmouth to appoint a sufficient number of transports to receive 1800 men. The Royal Briton, Recovery and Boscawen have been appointed and 450 private men have embarked. He has procured hay and oats for 300 horses and a ship load of fire wood which will go on the Berry, Admiral Boscawen and Elizabeth.
