Description

Copy letter from Joseph Biddlecom to the Board. Thomas Massey, Master of the Sussex Coaster, now at Newhaven, loaded with timber for Chatham, is ready to sail and asks for a convoy to the Downes Thomas Massey at Newhaven to Joseph Biddlecom. The coast is infested with privateers and several vessels have been taken. Request for a convoy as the vessel is laden and ready to sail
