John Clevland. Captain Barton, Commander of the Litchfield, informs us that whilst in Morocco, he allowed subsistence for the men saved from the wreck of the ship. He only paid them 2d a day because of the brandy shops and asks for the remaining 4d a day allowed to be paid them as soon as they are out of quarantine. If approved ask if it should be paid by the Commissioners of Victualling
