Thomas Corbett. Mary Stewart, mother of Jacob Moreton, deceased, late of the Dreadnought, petitions for his wages. She has, properly empowered, approached Commissioner Brown and was refused. Have sent a copy of the petition to Mr. Brown and has advised him Mrs. Stewart, as Moreton's mother, is fully entitled to his pay. Mr. Brown replies that if Mrs. Stewart produces proper authority she will be paid
