Thomas Corbett. Margaret Adams wife of the Pilot Extra on the Vulture Sloop, has petitioned for his pay. At the time Adams died, there was no provision to pay compensation to such officers but since February 1747 an Order in Council made it possible to compensate them on the same scale as Warrant Officers.
