Thomas Corbett. John Holden, Bridges Hatchman and John Isaac, shipwrights at Woolwich, complain they have lost their servants, Richard Loveridge, Thomas Beeler and John Shepherd who have deserted to a privateer, Charming Polly, now in the Hope. They ask for the ship to be stopped at the Nore and the servants put on Naval vessels. Mr. Isaac went on board the Charming Polly at Gravesend with a constable to get his servant released but was roughly treated by the crew. Ask for support of the efforts of the shipwrights to deter such desertions
