Description

Thomas Corbett. Vice Admiral Martin reports the value of the French ship Panther, captured by ships of his squadron. He thinks she would sail well and be useful in Service. The ship was purchased and given the name Amazon. She is rated as a 20-gun ship with 160 men and is at Plymouth
