Description

Folios 138A-138B. Letter from Thomas Duffield, [Oxfordshire]. He thanks the Home Secretary for a letter hw received from him. He states the need for a military force at the Abingdon Gaol has now receded. He refers to a fire at Lockinge near Wantage [in Berkshire] for which he thinks an active police officer would be desirable.
