Folios 53-54. Circular issued by John Harrop, Clerk to the Manchester Board of Guardians, in response to the discontinuance of poor relief for the irremovable poor by several poor law unions and parishes, issued resolutions relative to the provision of poor relief in Manchester. Enclosed with the printed circular are extracts of two resolutions passed by the board related to all non-settled poor living within Manchester Poor Law Union.
