Folio 134. Letter from G E Kirkland, Clerk to the Southwell Union, to the Local Government Board, acknowledging letter of 13 May 1899 regarding a copy of a letter from Mr R K Ellis the proposed public vaccinator of the Lowdham District. The clerk is in communication with Dr Ellis and will fill in the form and send it to the Board. He refers to the complaint that Dr Ellis's letter was not read to the guardians and explains that the chairman had seen Dr Ellis personally.
