Funding source(s): Barrow Cadbury Fund Ltd., Community Organising Programme. Applicant overview: NWFAD was established in 1997 from work fostered by the Welsh Broadbased Organisation (Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru). The organisation aims to establish a network of family support groups and carers to tackle drug abuse in North Wales. NWFAD became a registered charity in 1997. Nature of support: In 1998 on the advice of Relevant Trustees of the Community Organising Programme the Fund approved two annual grants of £5,000 to NWFAD. The final payment of £2,500 was rescinded in 2000. Minutes: BCF 3552, BCF 3649, COP 15/98. Notes: File organised from newest to oldest. File not numbered.
