5. John Ashby of Shrewsbury gentleman (trustee for Harrold)
Consideration: £500 paid by Owen and Floyd in equal shares to Jenks for repayment of mortgage of 29 march 1764 on the property; and £120 paid by Floyd and £100 by Owen to Harrold
Assignment of 3 houses on St. John's Hill or Swine Market Hill to Floyd, Owen and Ashby for Harrold, the tenants of them, for the remainder of the term of a lease for 99 years for which the site was leased to Harrold by Hugh Owen of Woodhouse co Salop Esq (since deceased) by lease of 2 August 176 at £10 14s. 0d. rent, reserving 1/3 of that rent on each house. The site extended in front from the highway by the town walls along the street to land of Thomas Gittins the younger 78ft. and reached in depth 113 ft. Harrold has taken down several old ruinous tenements and build these 3 good houses on the site.
