Demise of a space of land or ground in St John's Hill or Swine Market Hill extending in front from the highway by the Town Walls along the street towards the land then granted or to be granted to Thomas Gittins the younger 78 ft and in depth from the street backwards 113 ft on part of which ground there lately stood several old ruinous tenements which were taken down by William Harrold, to hold from 25 March last for 99 years at £10 14s rent, subject to covenants to be performed by the lessee

(ii) Richard Jenks of Shrewsbury apothecary Harrold had erected on the land whereon the old tenements stood or near thereto 3 good substantial dwellinghouses then in occupation of himself. Pryce Owen and the Rev John Wingfield clerk, and of the yearly value of £60 and upwards
Consideration £500 advanced on security of the houses

Pryce Owen had agreed for purchase of the house in his own occupation for £350, subject to yearly payment of £3.11.4, 1/3rd of the rent reserved by the ground lease. Mary Floyd had agreed for purchase of the house in the occupation of the Rev John Wingfield for £370, subject to a like payment yearly. Jenks to be paid off out of the purchase moneys
Consideration £500 to Jenks and £100 to Harrold from Owen and £150 from Floyd. Conveyance in trust for Floyd
Mary Floyd by will of 17-- gave her son Major John Floyd of Light Horse her house on St John's Hill with half the furniture linen plate and china, the other half to her daughter Elizabeth Powys Floyd, the testrix desiring that her friend Sarah Reynolds might live in the house during her life having the free use of all the furniture, also her daughter the same while she was unmarried, unless otherwise agreed, her son paying the taxes. Pryce Owen by will in 17-- appointed his only son Hugh Owen sole executor, will proved PCC
