George Eld late of Coventry, now of Foleshill in the County of the City of Coventry, baker and George Whieldon of Cotton Hall Staffs of (1) Lot 463 on a plan of enclosed land in Foleshill dated 11 August 1775; lying in the furlong shooting to Green Lane bounded by lot 485 of Mary Wilson and lot 460 of Lord Clifford. (2) Lot 464, lying in middle furlong; bounded by lot 476 of Mary Wilson, land of the trustees of Moores Charity and 'the furlong to to South of the houses'. (3) Lot 465 lying on Whites Furlong. Bounded by old enclosures late of John Burton, land in Exhall of Mr. Harrold, the Furlong South of the Houses and by other land of Mr. Harrold in Exhall. (4) Lot 466 lying in Whites Furlong, bounded by the old enclosures late of John Burton, land in Exhall of Mr. Harrold, the Furlong South of the Houses and the other land of Mr. Harrold in Exhall. (5) Lot 467, lying in White's Furlong; bounded by the old enclosures late of John Burton, land in Exhall of Mr. Harrold, the Furlong South of the Houses and lot 461 of Lord Clifford. (6) Lot 468; lying in the Furlong South of the Houses; bounded by Whites Furlong, Land in Exhall of Mr. Harrold, lot 494 of [ ] Walker and lot 493 of Francis Woodhouse. (7) Lot 469; lying in the Furlong to the South of the Houses, bounded by White's Furlong, land in Exhall or Mr. Arnold, Sheep Track Meadow and lot 477 of Moores Charity. All these seven pieces of land are numbered 12, 38, 57, 64, 67, 82 and 86 by the survey of Edward Phillips of Coventry. The property is to be held to the use of the Reverend Henry Bellairs of Bedworth, Warws, then to the use of George Whieldon. Deeds recited in the conveyance; 17/19 June 1814 Conveyance (lease and release) from; George Eld the elder, Sarah his wife, John Downing of Bolton, Warws, yeoman, Elizabeth, his wife, Thomas Downing of Nantwich, Cheshire, draper, Richard Downing of Bilton, Warws and Elizabeth his wife, James Downing of Coventry, Warws, and Sarah his wife to George Eld, the elder, and George Eld, the younger. 1814: final concord, plaintiffs and deforciants the parties of the 17/18 June 1814. Lease and release. May 1814 Bond to secure £150 from Jeremiah Wall of Kenilworth, gent, deceased, William Roadknight, the elder, deceased, William Roadknight, the younger, John Jackson, deceased, to George Eld, the elder. 27/28 Aug 1816. Conveyance (lease and release) for one sixth of the property from; John Crofton of Church Lawford, Warws, draper, Richard Downing to George Eld, the elder and his assigns. George Eld d. 2 December 1827, Jeremiah Wall d. 11 July 1828, William Roadknight the elder d. 20 March 1826, John Jackson d. 16 July 1817. William Roadknight the younger and William Seal are now mortgagees. The remaining property of George Eld, the younger, is sufficient security for the purpose of the contract with George Whieldon for the release of the above mentioned property. Covenant, in respect of the dower of Mary Eld, reciting 1 April 1818. Marriage Settlement (lease and release) from George Eld, the younger, to Jeremiah Smith of Coventry, silkman, Thomas Arnold of Hopsford, Warws, gent, re the intended marriage between George Eld and Mary Rippet. Schedule of deeds 26 June 1742 to 27/28 Aug 1816.
