This is the last Wille of me Thomas A Broker of Hoo [Kent] made ther the xxvti day of May in the xijth yere of the regne of Kynge Edward the iiijth [1462]
First I wille that my feoffies suffre Jone my Wyf to have alle my londes and tenementez as longe as she dwellith in my place and duly kepe my londes and howsyng from strep' and wast; And yif she be wedded and dwelle from my place Thanne I wille that my feoffies lete them to ferme to the most abayle and pay to my said Wyf for her dowre yerly iiijor marc[s] duryng her lyf to be levered of the x s. of Rente comyng from John Parker and Richard Tysherst and of the londes by northe my place; And that the residue of the Revenewes over the reperacions and the said iiijor marc[s] be devided the on' half in fyndyng of Aprest to synge for me. And in Almes dede yevyng by the discrecion of my feoff[ies] and that the other half be put to the fyndyng of my children unto they be maried to whom and whose mariage after my wifes decesse, I wille my londes and tenementes be devided under maner and forme that foloweth
That is to say that Jone my daughter have to hir and hir heirez my place called Burgrove with the londes and the berne in the Southsid of the same place late of Jone A Clyf and the londes called Pardys the Swe[.....] in the mersshe and iiijor Acres called Oxlese and the berne over the Northe side of the place with iij croftis lyeinge therto
Item that Agnes my daughter have hir and hir heirez A messuage challed Chirchez in the Saltmersshe pynnokmersshe Wellmersshe and x s. of Rente wherof of John Parker Vs. of Richard Tysherst
Item that Kateryne my daughter have to hir and hir heirez a messuage called Stakes with the londes therto and the tenement calleth Hancs and vj acres of mersshelonde therto belongyng
Item that Thomasyn my daughter have to hir and hir heirez a tenement called Wales and the londe called Bredelonde late Bovels and the land called Whitefeld
Also I wille yif that any of my doughtren dye than I wille that hir or their parte so dede of their londes be equaly devided amonge my other doughtren than lyvyng and yif alle my doughtren dye than I wille that alle my said londes be solde and the money therof comyng to be disposid as mension therof with ynneforth is made
Provided alway that yif any wast be done in my housyng and bildyngez duryng my said wifis lif she dwellyng in my said place, than I wille that my feoffies entrein to what londe them list and take the profytez therof to repayre sufficiently the housyng so wastid and yif Wast be done in any londes than I wille my wif be put therfro accordyng to the Lawe
Provyded also yif any of my doughtren be maried levyng my wif she takyng the said iiijor marces or hir dower than I wille that my feoffies deliver to that Doughter and doughtren so married to the them and to eche of them and hir heirez when they have heirez of their body their part of londez to them above so assigned and that than the same londes by the said feoff[iez] be apporcioned after the rate and the yerly value therof to bere to the paymente of the said iiijor marc[ez] etc
Also I wille that my said wif have alle my houshold while she is sole. And whenne she is wedded I wille she have the halfendele and that the other half of the same houshold be dilivered to myne other executores to kepe for my doughtren equaly to be devyded amonge them to their mariages. And yif any of them dye or they be maried Than I wille that hir or their parte so dede be shift amonge them that leve; and yif they alle dye Thanne I wille my wyf have the same half while she is sole: and whenne she is wedded that then the same my children part forth with my wyfes part of my said houshold yif she dye or she be wedded be departid amonge my next kynne by myne executores and yif my wyf dye or she be wedded as it is aforesaid, thanne I wille that hir parte of my said houshold remayne to my said doughtren that leve to be devyded amonge them as it is above said And that the residue of my goodes and cataill' be put to the performing of this my wille and of my testament etc
Item: I wille the revenewes of Ladylonde at Seynt Mighell nowe next be put holy to the paying of my Rentes and fermes
Item: I bequeth to the makyng of the Stoles in the said Chirche v. marc

Item: I wille that every of my said doughtren have of my Executores to their mariages x marc to be had and leveid of my goodes cataill and dettes and yif any of them dye or they be maried thenne hir or their part of mone so dede be equaly devided amonge my other doughtren thanne levyng and yif it hap that alle my doughtren dye or they be maried my wyf served of hir duete after forme and maner above assigned My wille is that Abason be bought of Laten by my feoffees for thre taperes to honge to fore Seynt Margarete of Hoo, and every taper of A pounde to be light att every fernice ther in the honor of Almyghty god and of the said goode Saynt
And att every Shirthurisday to dele att Hoo to pover people iij s for whiche dole and light for ever to be founde, I wille my feoffees assigne Aparcell of lond to be made save to that entent with alle the goode advise that may be had theryn and that the residue of alle my said londes and tenementez goodes and cataill by my feoffees shal be solde and the mone thereof comyng forth with the mone comyng of the londes and goodes due to my said children after my wyfes decesse be disposed by my feoffees under manere and forme that foloweth forth with the over sight of the vicarye of Hoo than beyng that is to saye to my next kynne xx marc and to xij poermen in Hoo xij kene to be ordenneth
Item: to every mayde than in Hoo above xij yere olde vj s. viij.d. and that my said feoffees make uppe the residue of the Stoles in the Chirche of Hoo yif any than be to make and pewe the Chirche and Chaunsell and Seynt Margarte is Chapell ther
Item: two laten [base] Candelstykes to be bought for the said Chirche and with the residue of the said Mone to fynde Aprest to synge for my soule and my said wyfes and children and oure frendes and in alle other almes dedes as fer as it will extende by the said feoffees and vicarie to be done
Also I will yif nede be here after for the performyng of this my will that my feoffement be encressed to the number of v. att the lest
