Applicant overview: The Circles Network was established in 1994 and aims to support people who are either experiencing social exclusion, or are at risk of being isolated through disability, disadvantage and long-term illness, to become and remain fully included in community life. Network aims include working in communities throughout the UK, with bases in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and maintaining a local presence and having the resources to respond to the needs of individuals and their families, wherever they live. The Network became a registered charity in 1995. Nature of support: In 2000 the Trust approved grants totalling £400,000 paid over four years. Minutes: BCT 950.
