Edward Kinaston of Oately Esq TO Thomas Nixson of Stocks yeoman
Consideration:- rent of £70, 4 good fat live rent hens at Christmas, carriage of 2 sufficient loads of pit coals and 2 days carriage of muck with a sufficient team yearly, the work of one sufficient workman two days every harvest or at other times when required, carriage whenever required of tithes of corn and grain from Wykeys tenement (former tenant Mary Powell) to Kinastons barn, maintenance of a hound yearly, heriot of best beast or good.
Counterpart lease of 2 messuages and several parcels land in Stocks (parish of Ellesmere), the first messuage formerly held by Thomas Povall, the other by Mary Powell, for 99 years or lives of Thomas Nixson, Ann his wife, Jonathan their son. Nixson may keep the tithes of the tenement formerly Povall's.
