Estimate of the expense of Drawing the Water from the Conduit Head to where the Pipe was "latly burst near the Flax Oven in Mr. Gittoes Lands, with Burned Clay Pipes Five inches diameter in the Bore".
To be well burned, and the pipes to be put over head in water 24 hours before laid in 3 inches thick of tempered clay, jointed one end in the other "with a sement". With carriage of clay, opening the land, laying the pipe, and making the land up again.
