Thos. Daniell, Truro, merchant (assignees of estate of Wm. John of Penzance, merchant, a bankrupt).
(ii) Sarah Jeffreyson, Penzance, spinster.
(iii) Edward Williams, Penzance, cooper.
(Recital of Lease and Release and Assignment 28 and 29 March 1766. (a) Wm. John, Penzance, merchant (nephew and hr. of Thos. John of Penzance decd.) (b) = (ii) £300 (b)-(a)-(a)-(b)--House in Penzance occ. Wm. John, blacksmith, then Thomas John, then tenants of (a) (Thos. Bodilley jun., Judith and Eliz. Roskilly, and Matthew Read) £300 consideration was to secure annuity of £21 to (ii) for her life. Rec. Wm. John a Bankrupt. Rec. of assignment of 8 November 1769 (a) Thos. Glynn, Helston, esq., Phillip Webber, Falmouth, gent. Francis Paynter, Boskenna, gent., Francis Polkinghorne, St. Austell, gent (b) = (i) Commission of 26 August against W. John to (a) (inc. Jn. Blewett, esq.)
W. John indebted to John Price and David Dennis, Penzance, gent in £150. 23 October 1767 meeting of creditors at house of John King, innkeeper, in Helston. (i) chosen to be assignees of Wm. John's estate. Assignment of W. John's estate (a) - (b) - estate in trust for creditors.
(i)& (ii) agreed to sell house in Penzance, (ii) to be paid her money with interest)
(i) - (iii) -- houses in Alwarton Lane occ. Thos. John decd. then Thos. Bodilly jun. and Mathew Read.
(Rec. of lease of 27 September 1741 (a) George Veale, Penzance, gent. and his elder brother Wm. Veale, Penzance, esq. (b) Thomas John (decd.), uncle of Wm. John) - garden (part of garden of G. Veale) walled in by (b) 20 and ½ feet of ground from N. wall of house of Thos. John, south house of Thos. Johns north garden of Geo. Veale out of which plot was taken from 24 June 1741 for 99 yrs. or lives of (b), Thos. John jun.; Geo. John (b)'s nephew. Rent 10s.) Rec. of assignment 8 November 1767. Commissioners in Bankruptcy - assignment to (i) - leasehold plot (above) in trust for creditors).
