Xerox copy of Somerton Borough court book, containing half-yearly curia legalis and view of frankpledge, May 1701-Oct.1716. The record for May 1714 is incomplete.
Proceedings incl. lists of free tenants, jurors and officers (constables, bailiffs, assessors of bread and ale, and sealers of leather), jury presentments and copyhold admittances. Special courts for copyhold business held on the day following the regular court in May 1704 and Apr.1706. At beginning is list of 'fees due in thei Burrough', n.d. 80 fos.
