Description

J. Eliot (London) to Richd. How II (Aspley) Pious sentiments ....I could not but be sensible that the Cross remains still in thy way that thou art rather stumbling at it. Else there would not be that difference betwixt thy speech & writing ....... cannot but think that that which led thee to alter thy way of writing to me & others', & to lay aside the titular superscriptions would lead to the same in speaking
