General items including; Correspondence from another salvage company declining offer to work with HMS Warspite. Correspondence re ferrous scrap being bought from The Wolverhampton Metal Company, Wednesfield, by the 'British Iron & Steel Corporation (Salvage) Ltd'. Also correspondence from same company re poor delivery record of The Wolverhampton Metal Company Ltd, Wednesfield, because of poor rolling stock. Correspondence from P Bauer (Salvage) Ltd re miss-delivery of steel by British Rail. Correspondence re charges for services from Crump & Son solicitors, London. Correspondence to P Bauer (Salvage) Ltd from Crump & Son solicitors requesting P Bauer (Salvage) Ltd not to move HMS Warspite without correct permissions in place. Correspondence re William Dunn, 'Iron, Stell and Mineral Merchant'. Items that may be of particular interest include: Draft agreement between Lord St Levane owner of St Michaels Mount and foreshore, and the owners, salvors and contractors of HMS Warspite [p250-252].
