Recited indentures
28 & 29 September 1827 (279/84, 85)
The sum of £8000 is still owing, and Thomas Lloyd having occasion for the further sum of £900, John Finchett Maddock is agreeable to this becoming a further charge upon the estate. Lloyd promises to pay the sum of £900 on 8 November next ensuing; or if the estate has to be sold Francis promises to pay the sum out of the proceeds.
T. F. Maddock to stand seized of the property in trust for Francis to dispose of, as he or they shall direct.
Witnesses W. Kempster, Wm. Morgan clerks to Mr. Cooper solicitor Shrewsbury
Endorsed receipt signed by Thomas Lloyd for the sum of £900. Also a note endorsed to the effect that John Finchett Maddock acknowledges that the sum of £900 is the proper monies of William Cooper of Shrewsbury and that his name is used only in trust for the benefit of Cooper.
26 January 1830 Cooper acknowledges that Maddock has paid him the sum of £900
