Abstract of Title, 26 May 1718 to 1 July 1785.
Schedule of Deeds etc., relating to copyhold estates of Peter Downes Esq., in Bollington, Rainow, Hurdsfield, in manor and forest of Macclesfield mortgaged to Golding Griggs Esq., for £2,000, listing 14 documents. First 9 numbered 1 - 9; No.9 is 5 October 1773. Acknowledgement signed by John Brocklehurst of his receipt of the said deeds as security for £3000, witness Jos. Cooke. Signature of Brocklehurst crossed out, and a note;- "Mem: Mr. Brocklehurst signed a fresh Schedule to Mr Downes Jan 24th 1799". (cp 6/3, 24 January 1799).

As (1) supra, save that it only lists docts. Nos.1-9, 26 May 1718 - 5 October 1773. A note says: "22d Novr 1784 sent No 9 the Abstract to Messrs Bullock & Lowtens at there request & Mr. Jos: Cookes Mr. Downes's Attorney".
