Description

Siva and Parvati. Mewar, late 18th century. Mounted in an album, formerly Album 70; presented 21 April 1915. Gouache; yellow and red borders. 203 by 130 mm; page 257 by 178 mm. Siva and Parvati sit arm in arm on a tiger-skin beneath a tree. Siva has a halo and is holding his trident. The white bull and tiger are in the foreground.
