Description

A series of over 100 diaries and field note-books, starting in 1915 and running through to 1989 with a gap from 1917 to 1927. Large numbers of letters including correspondence with H F Witherby, P C R Jourdain, P D Hollam, A E Ellis, A G Stubbs, Fred Taylor, Michael Blackmore, Harry Britten and many more. A large number of newspaper cuttings of articles published in the Oldham Chronicle under the name 'Moorcock', Daily Mirror, the Buxton Herald, the journal 'Photography' and the Yorkshire Evening Post. Leeds Museums also hold all his photographic negatives and many hundreds of photographic prints.
