Survey shows coastline, hydrography, jetties, topography, land use, roads, settlements, buildings, land marks, sight lines and remarks. Colour manuscript. Watermark: 'Penn Smith and Allnutt 1815'. North point with compass showing true and magnetic north (orientation to north north west). Scale: 5 inches to 500 feet. Assigned by 'Thos [Thomas] Telford', Edinburgh 29 October 1819. Annotated with black ink: 'Received from the board 9 March 1821', and with pencil: 'Kirk Bush', 'flat sandy down' and compass
