A catalogue of the pamphlets collected by Edmund Gibson (1669-1748), Bishop of London. Title (p. i) : 'A catalogue of pamphlets bound in several volumes, collected by the Right Reverend Edmund Gibson, Lord Bishop of London; deposited in Sion College Library in May 1798 by the executors of the Revd. Edmund Gibson M.A., late rector of St. Bene't Paul's Wharf, and in April 1799 given by them to the said Library'. The catalogue is in the hand of Robert Watts, Librarian of Sion College 1799-1842. Watts laid this catalogue before the Court of Sion College on 6 June 1816; on 11 July he was awarded £21 for his care in compiling it. (London Metropolitan Archives, Sion College, Court minutes vol. D, pp. 320-1).

- The Gibson pamphlets, together with this catalogue, were transferred from Sion College to Lambeth Palace Library in 1996. The pamphlets are now recorded in the Lambeth Palace Library online catalogue of printed books. Some items recorded by Watts appear now to be missing.

- Quarter leather binding, 330 x 212 mm., 20th cent. Paper leaves. pp. 421-2 are an added leaf providing a concordance between modern press marks of the Gibson pamphlets and their descriptions in this volume.
