Copy Memorials from the Sheriffs of the County of Middlesex to the Justices of the Peace in Quarter Sessions assembled, requesting the Court to make an order for compensation to be paid to them out of the County Rate, for the loss of Gaol Fees (abolished by 55 Geo. III. c. L, 1815) occasioned by the Liberation of debtors discharged from Newgate and the Debtors Prison [Whitecross Street from 1815] for London and Middlesex, during their several Shrievalties.; 14 Copy Memorials (written on paper Watermark "1831") giving the names only of 12,352 persons discharged from the said Debtors' Prisons between 19th October, 1815 and 28th September, 1829 (Newgate 1815/16 only).
