(a) from Alfred Walls to Faith He and Goodinge needed good rest after bicycling from Enfield and Hinwick and back to see Orlebars sorry Lieutenant Dick had to leave for the Front going to try to get all the badges in the Army for Miss Erica when he gets back to the Depot undated (1915)
(b) from Alfred Walls, Sandown, Isle of Wight to Faith glad Miss Erica enjoyed her holidays; thanks for her letter undated (1915)
(c) from Mary Walls (Alfred's mother), Capetown to Faith thanks for kindness to Alfred doing some nursing; "times are very bad out here" thanks for photos 17 September 1915
(d) from Walls to Faith split from Goodinge, as Walls ordered back by Bugler Major Goodinge wont 'join him' as he does not like soldiering in England therefore he is stopping in his company to go to the Front 12 October 1915
(e) from from 'soldier in whom we were all interested' thanks for photos - sends some postcards of China and one of his photos
(f) from William P Feeney, Worcestershire to Faith been out since last August 'desolate place' ration and water supply fairly good had good chat with Captain Bayley in Isle of Wight 1915
