Photocopied ts account (24pp) relating to his service in No 72 Squadron RAF in the Caucasus, August - November 1918, describing his flight in an SE5a to assist Dunsterforce in their occupation of Baku, the series of accidents which occurred during his flight across Persia, and his forced landing on 31 August near Shusha in Trans-Caucasia and subsequent capture by local Tartars who handed him over to the Turks; after being taken prisoner he was interrogated personally by the Turkish Commander in Chief, Nuri Pasha, was kept in isolation for several days without proper food and threatened with execution, and then imprisoned with other British prisoners in a civil jail at Elizavetpol, later being interrogated by German intelligence staff in Tiflis.
