Minutes, correspondence and associated papers of the Accountability Group of Elders, an informal group of John Stott's friends established to advise Stott on apportioning his time and accepting invitations. ff. 1-11: Papers concerning Stott's move to St Barnabas and arrangements in the event of Stott's death, 2007-2011 Includes two newsletters from Stott, 27 April 2007, July 2009 (ff. 4, 11); LPI [Langham Partnership International] planning documents, comprising an interview with Stott about his devotional life and sermon composition and a letter issued after Stott's death (ff. 2, 6-10); a College of St Barnabas order of service for Stott's funeral, 23 August 2011 (ff.1) ff. 12-139: AGE Minutes, memoranda, correspondence and reports, 1987-2006 Includes discussion of Stott's schedules, with consideration given to time allocated to London for LICC [London Institute for Contemporary Christianity] and All Souls activities, to the Hookses cottage for reading and writing, and to travel. In the latter years of the group, there is particular emphasis on the suitability of Stott's living and overseas travel arrangements, including reports by Chris Wright and Stott's study assistants in 1988, 1998-2002 (ff. 64, 67, 72-73, 76-80, 94, 101, 128), guidelines for those hosting visits from Stott (ff. 68-69, 98), and reflections on the role of Stott's study assistant (ff. 82). Also contains correspondence relating to Evangelicals 2000 at All Souls, Langham Place (ff. 121-124), a draft posthumous letter from Stott to Langham Trust and Foundation friends, 1993 (ff. 116); medical reports, 1998 (ff. 95, 102); funeral plans for the Langham Partnership International Council (ff. 27-28).
