The majority of the deeds in this section consist of leases of land and premises in the manor of Oddingley by members of the Foley family. There are also some deeds relating to mortgages taken out on property at Oddingley and Himbleton by Thomas Foley in the early nineteenth century, and to John Howard Galton's susequent acquisition of the Oddingley estate
