Description (What the record is about)
-
The plans in the following list comprise building control plans submitted to Hursley Rural District Council 1897-1932. The original numbering, given to the plans by Council officers, has been retained. Plan numbers for which there is no description, have not been deposited in the Hampshire Record Office and may not have survived. The greater part of Hursley R.D.C. was transferred to Romsey and Stockbridge R.D.C. and a smaller part to Winchester R.D.C. in 1932 and it is possible that further plans may turn up in the records of the successor authorities.
